The period of visa-free stay in Myanmar is 30 days
The Myanmar authorities decided to extend visa-free entry to the country for Russians arriving for tourist or business purposes until June 30, 2025, the Russian Embassy in Myanmar reports. “We inform you about the extension until June 30, 2025 of the pilot project on exemption from visa formalities for Russian citizens, holders of general civil foreign passports arriving in Myanmar for business and tourist purposes,” the message says. As noted in the diplomatic mission, the period of visa-free stay in Myanmar is 30 days. Myanmar has allowed visa-free entry for Russians for up to 30 days through the international airports of Yangon, Mandalay and Naypyidaw in the summer of 2023. This permit expired on June 30, 2024.
