Basically, such requests were sent by airlines that need additional time to prepare and implement the necessary technological systems,” the ministry said. Earlier it was reported that from August 1, 2024, obtaining an ETA will become mandatory for travelers from all countries with which Israel has a visa-free entry regime, including Russian citizens. This fully applies to Russians. As well as all foreigners who are eligible for visa-free entry to the specified country.
